The top home based business ideas aren’t easy. 97% of people that try ideas like this will fail.

And that’s because they give up without letting their home business flourish. I myself use online network marketing. The key to success if you’re planning to sell something online is traffic. If you can drive large amounts of traffic to a sales page or product page you WILL make money. But generating traffic can take a long while. I use articles and videos to push traffic to my sites. If my articles or videos manage to rank in the top pages of google for certain keywords I get huge amounts of traffic.

There are other ways of traffic generation like forum posting and social media, but don’t get too crazy. It’s best to master just a couple at first before moving into anything else. Remember, any top home based business idea is great but if it’s going to succeed you need people to see it.

Here’s a scenario:

You are a person with limited beliefs, never stepped out of your comfort zone and are very closed minded. You then decide to start a business from home. What kind of results do you think you would have?

Pretty poor results right?

Well look at another scenario:

You are the same person above, except this time you change and do whatever needs to be done, in order for you to become successful with your home business. This includes stepping out of your comfort zone, opening your mind, embracing new concepts and learning new skills.

Although it might be tempting, you shouldn’t keep the clothes that you relax and sleep in on while working.

Although it might be more comfortable, you should separate your comfortable clothes from the ones you work in. Although it isn’t necessary to don a suit and tie, you should get up and prepare for work instead of just walking from your bed directly to your desk. The key to a successful home business is to treat it with the same professionalism as any other job.

Tip #3: Adopt a Schedule

Although it might not always be possible to do this one, try to have a set time to work and to relax. This way you get the appropriate amount of work done but also have time to spend for yourself and with your family and friends. This is key to the institution of a successful home business as far too many do not get the attention they need to get off the ground, much less maintain strong profits.

Just because you now work at home doesn’t mean that the work will be accomplished without the same amount of effort that you spent at an outside office.

Tip #4: TV is perhaps one of the biggest distractions in our lives. Even if the volume is low or off completely, it is still highly distracting. When you are working, you should focus on work. While at an office, with a boss looking over your head, you would never dream of switching on a television. The same should be true for your successful home business. The only difference is that you are your own boss.

Tip #5: Go To Lunch

Just as you would at work, going out to lunch is an excellent way to take a break from your successful home business. Get up and go out for a cup of coffee or a meal. Everybody needs social interactions and you, the owner of a successful home business, are no exception.

and we get more experience. And in this process our knowledge, our
confidence, and our abilities grow. But the key is, During this
process, what we go through is even more important than the end goal
itself.

Because who we become in the process, as a result of all the learning,
mistakes, and experience, is where the real value lies. A Chinese
proverb says, The journey is the reward!

There are many times that you are going to want to give up during the
process. Especially with the way our economy is right now, times can
be tough. You may go to bed and wish you would never wake up, you
tell yourself, Having an online home business will never work, Your
going to just fail anyway, so why try.

This is when you need to get re-energized, pick you self up and leap
over the obstacles that are in your way. This is the process of
everyday life and business.

Robert and Kim Kiyosaki went through a process. They said it was the
